What you need to know about India’s Hangzhou schedule, timing, and venues for the Asian Games

<p>The 19th Asian Games will begin in Hangzhou, China, on September 23, after being postponed by a year due to Covid-19. <p>There are 921 Indians registered for the Asian Games, comprising 655 athletes, 260 coaches, and support personnel. In and around Hangzhou, 56 venues will be utilized, and 481 gold medals will be awarded.</p>
<p>On October 8, the mega-continental event’s concluding ceremony will take held.</p>
<p>India finished seventh overall and took home 70 medals, including 16 gold, 23 silver, and 31 bronze, at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta. This was India’s highest medal total in a continental competition.</p>

<p>24–26 September: Rugby Sevens (2 events) – Twelve Indians (two teams)</p>
<p>Rowing (20-25 September, 14 races), 33 Indians</p>
<p>Skating: from September 30 to October 7 (10 events), 14 Indians will compete.</p>

<p>From September 24 to October 7 (6 events), Sepaktakraw included 16 Indians.</p>
