In an old video, Karan asks Deepika Padukone about her RK tattoo after their breakup

The surprising disclosures made on Koffee With Karan, Karan Johar's contentious chat show, never fail to disappoint the viewers. In the previous season, celebrities like Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday, Akshay Kumar, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Ishaan Khatter shared some sizzling and up-to-date rumors with their fans. But even so, it couldn't compare to a memorable Season 3 episode starring Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor.

During the rapid fire round in 2010, Karan Johar felt like asking some outrageous questions about ex-girlfriends. As a result, Deepika Padukone, who had previously kept quiet about the RK tattoo, suddenly spoke out on the sofa. After Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor purportedly broke up, the show aired, yet Deepika Padukone continued to make headlines due to her neck tattoo. Deepika had said, “It's something that I thought was correct at the time,” while explaining her opinions. And I haven't looked back since. And I've never considered getting rid of it. I am aware that the media often reports that “she has taken it off!” and such absurd things. It's definitely there, and I don't intend to remove it.

Rishi Kapoor, the father of Ranbir Kapoor, is said to have taken offense when Sonam Kapoor referred to Deepika Padukone's tattoo as “scars of the battle” in the notorious scene. “Many times, it has happened that I had to step in to douse the fire after rapid-fire,” said Karan Johar to the news agency IANS. I recall that Chintu ji (Rishi Kapoor) was really furious when Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone attended the performance and talked anyway they felt necessary. I had to get involved to put things right. I felt awful for having my programs banned and pulled off the air.

The eighth season of Koffee With Karan is anticipated to begin streaming in late June, according to a report. The show's usual guests, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, and Sidharth Malhotra, are expected to feature in the forthcoming season, according to insider sources who spoke to the newspaper. Karan Johar allegedly can't wait to premiere the new season with Alia and Ranbir. According to the insider, Karan is especially eager to include the pair in the first episode since she knows that people are interested in learning more about their marriage and parenting.
