Badshah: I’ve always wanted to see Indian music represented on a global scale

<p>The first Indian artist to play at Untold, the world’s sixth-ranked music festival, is singer and rapper Badshah. He says it has always been his desire to put Indian music and culture on the international stage and is thrilled to be performing.</p>

<p>The Middle East will see the premiere of Untold, a story that was formerly set in Europe. It is slated to happen in Expo City Dubai in Dubai from February 15–18.</p>
<p>“I am so excited to be working with UNTOLD,” Badshah said. I can’t wait to play with some incredible musicians in their first Dubai edition.</p>
<p>“I’ve always wanted to put Indian music and culture on the map of the world. I am appreciative of such possibilities. Let’s introduce India to the globe! He continued.</p>
<p>As one of the main stage headliners on the festival’s second day, the organizers have announced the addition of prominent Indian rap phenomenon Badshah to their massive lineup of top-grossing international musicians.</p>
<p>Joining the already impressive lineup of headliners that included Armin van Buuren, Bebe Rexha, Don Diablo, Ellie Goulding, Hardwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, Tiësto, G-Eazy, PSY, Hardwell, Major Lazer Soundsystem, Paul Kalkbrenner, and Timmy Trumpet is the 38-year-old music mogul.</p>
